School Carnival - 2026

Event Goal: End the year with a day full of fun, games, and celebration!

Date & Time: Wednesday, June 3rd, morning

We will have two sessions:

TK - 2nd: 8:30 - 10:05 am

3rd - 5th: 10:20 - 11:50 am

Location: Bracher blacktop, under the shade structure

Volunteering: Sign up for volunteer spots here. More details below.

Activities:

  • Carnival games

  • Snacks

Cost: Free for all students

Volunteer Opportunities

    • Time Commitment: 1 hour

    • What you’ll do: Help set up booths and carnival games, then help run games or handing out snacks.

    • When / Where: Wed, June 3, 8-9am, Bracher playground

    • Number of volunteers needed: 15. Note, you can sign up for more than one time slot.

    • How to express interest:Sign up using the link here

    • Time Commitment: 1 hour

    • What you’ll do: Help run games or handing out snacks during Carnival Session 1 for all the TK, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classes.

    • When / Where: Wed, June 3, 9-10am, Bracher playground

    • Number of volunteers needed: 15. Note, you can sign up for more than one time slot.

    • Time Commitment: 1 hour

    • What you’ll do: Get the carnival ready for the next wave of students, as TK-2nd leaves at 10 am and 3rd-5th arrive at 10:20 am. Then, help run games or hand out snacks during Carnival Session 2 for all the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes.

    • When / Where: Wed, June 3, 10-11 am, Bracher playground

    • Time Commitment: 1 hour

    • What you’ll do: Help run games or hand out snacks during Carnival Session 2 for all the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes.

    • Number of volunteers needed: 15. Note, you can sign up for more than one time slot.

    • Time Commitment: 30 min

    • What you’ll do: Help pick up and throw away trash, wipe up spills, put away carnival games, and carry tables and chairs back inside.

    • When / Where: Wed, June 3, 12 - 12:30 pm, Bracher playground

    • Number of volunteers needed: 15. Note, you can sign up for more than one time slot.

If you are no longer able to volunteer due to illness or emergency, please email bracherpta@gmail.com as soon as you become aware you need to cancel.

Event FAQ

  • This event is limited to the students to allow them to celebrate the end of the year with their classmates. Parents are encouraged to volunteer however; see the “Volunteer Opportunities” section above or sign up using the sign-up page here.

  • Yes, PTA will provide carnival inspired snacks.

  • No, the event and all carnival games are free for all Bracher students!
