This event list is maintained by volunteers through the PTA and focuses on PTA-led events. For convenience, non-PTA events are sometimes included to help keep parents/caregivers informed of major school events.

Conference Week & Minimum Days
(Not a PTA event) Conferences are happening Wed-Fri and school will be closing on the minimum day schedule all week.
This event has been added to the PTA calendar to help spread the word to parents, but any questions about this week should be directed to the school office.

Picture Retake Day - Fall
This is not a PTA event; please direct questions to the school office.
This is an opportunity for students who missed picture day or who need a new photo taken for some reason to have a new photo taken. Information will be sent home with your student(s) closer to the date!
No School - Veterans Day
School closed for Veteran’s Day. Classes will resume as usual Thursday.
Trimester 1 Report Cards Available
This is not a PTA event; please watch for official school communications through the ParentSquare platform and direct questions to your student(s)’ teacher.

All-School Panorama Picture Day
This is NOT a PTA event and has been added to the PTA calendar for parents’ convenience. The entire school will gather on the field during school hours for an all-school picture to be included in the yearbook. If you have any questions, including if you need to know the exact time of the picture, please reach out to the school office.

Celebrate your teacher(s) hard work all week during National Teacher Appreciation Week, with a special thanks on Tuesday for National Teacher Appreciation Day!

Last day of school. Have a good summer, Bobcats, and congrats to our graduating 5th Graders!
No School - Labor Day & Professional Development Day
School closed on Monday for Labor Day and Tuesday for a teacher professional development day. School will resume on Wednesday; a reminder that Wednesdays are minimum days.
Family Picnic
Bring your blankets, camp chairs, and picnic dinner to join us on the blacktop under the shade structure for an informal gathering of Bracher families. This is a great opportunity to meet the parents of your child(ren)’s school friends

First Full Day for TK & Kinder
Please refer to the official Bracher bell schedule at bracher.santaclarausd.org/about-us/bell-schedule for specific school end times, which are different from each other and from the rest of the students.
Apex Prizes Distributed
Final tallies will be in for total funds raised during the Apex Fun Run fundraiser, and prizes will be distributed to students during class.

Come see your child(ren)’s classroom and enjoy a taco truck and socializing with parents from 6-7:30!
Apex Fundraiser
We’re partnering with Apex to bring leadership lessons to the students, build excitement for being back at school, and raise funds for school programs not covered by regular funding. Watch for a flyer to be sent home with your student the Wednesday before the event kicks off!

Yearbook Distribution (This Week)
Yearbooks will be distributed in class at some point this week to all students who pre-ordered one.

Spirit Week - May
Dress in a different theme each day; themes are listed on a flyer sent home with your student!
Movie Night - May
Kids-only event for TK-5th grade students and their siblings (must be TK-aged or older).
Cost: $20 per student, additional $15 per sibling. Includes pizza, bottle of water, and popcorn.
Movie: Zootopia 2
Feel free to come in pajamas or bring blankies, pillows, and/or stuffies!

LAST DAY - Yearbook Pre-order
Yearbooks will only be available for pre-order. Order form and payment are due by Friday, May 15, 2026.
Cost is $25 per yearbook. If you are ordering a yearbook for multiple students, please fill out a form for each student to make sure that their yearbooks will be delivered to them in the correct classroom, e.g. if you have two students please fill out a different form for each student.
Payment can be made by cash, Venmo, or check. Make checks payable to “Bracher PTA”. Email bracherpta@gmail.com for instructions if paying by Venmo.
Pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed during the last week of school. Complete the form sent via ParentSquare and return it along with payment to the office or your teacher.
Yearbooks are a timeless way to remember your child’s time at Bracher Elementary!
