Family Picnic - 2026

Event Goals:

  • Socialize with other Bracher families

  • Meet the parents of your child(ren)’s friends

Date & Time: Friday, September 4th anytime between 5 - 7 p.m.

Location: On the Bracher blacktop under the shade structure. Bring your camp chairs and/or blankets to sit on, your dinner, and a smile!

Cost: Free

Volunteering: No volunteers needed! Just come with your dinner, your seating of choice, and your smiles

Activity:

Come anytime between 5-7; drop in for a bit or stay the whole time! No need to check in for this one; just come with your blanket/chairs and your dinner. This is a great chance to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and maybe get to meet some of your child(ren)’s friends’ parents.

At lease one member of the PTA will be available for questions during the entire event, so feel free to say “hi”!

Seating, food, and drink will NOT be provided or available for purchase, so be sure to bring what you need!

  • No, please bring your own food and drinks!

    There will will not be food or drink, provided or for purchase.

    We ask that you keep our campus peanut-free to protect students with allergies!

  • Nope! Come anytime between 5-7. You can bring your dinner, or just pop in to hang out for a while and eat before or after the event!

  • Absolutely! Please note that all guests of Bracher students are expected to adhere to the school code of conduct while on campus, even outside of school hours.

  • To help keep our schoolyard clean for our students to enjoy we ask that you limit pets to service animals only. Please note that during construction the only area with grass accessible is in front of the school.

  • Let’s keep it cozy under the shade structure! Since we will not have volunteers to do cleanup, and the shade structure is quite far from the tables, please plan to sit with the rest of the community under the shade structure.

  • During construction we won’t have access to the field, but that isn’t going to stop us! We are going to set up on the blacktop under the shade structure (a previous gift from the PTA). Please plan accordingly if you need a little more cushion under your blanket!

    Note that there will not be tables provided.

  • If you have a lawn game that can be set up on concrete (like corn hole) and you want to bring it to share with families at the picnic, you are welcome to do so!

    Please note the PTA is not liable for any damaged property.

  • Yes, the school bathrooms will be available for use.
