Event Goals:
Give parents a break with extremely low cost childcare for their Bracher student and their siblings aged 4.5-18
Give Bracher students a fun activity to bond with their classmates.
Raise money to help fund classroom fieldtrips
2026/2027 Dates & Times:
September 25, 2026, 6-8 p.m. - Toy Story 5 - preview
January 22, 2027, 6-8 p.m. - TBD
Location: Bracher Multipurpose Room
Cost: $20 for the first Bracher student, $15 for siblings (Bracher student or other). Includes pizza (cheese or pepperoni), bottle water, and popcorn.

Activities:
This is a kids-only drop-off event where Bracher students and their siblings (age 4-18) can enjoy a movie, pizza, and popcorn with their fellow classmates! Kids may bring their blankets, PJs, and/or stuffies. Students will be sitting on the floor of the multipurpose room.

Volunteer Opportunities

Requirements: Able to bend down and lift things like half a table. This is a Category A volunteer opportunity and you do NOT need to have completed the volunteer application form.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes Note, you do not need to attend the event to volunteer for this role.
What you’ll do: Help move tables to make room for pizza and the students, pop popcorn, set out plates, and in general make the space ready for the kids!
When / Where: Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the event. You can come straight to the Bracher Multipurpose Room. Look for a PTA Board Member.
Number of volunteers needed: 2

What you’ll do: Help throw away trash, wipe down spills and tables, and stack chairs.
When / Where: 8pm on the day of the event. Come straight to the Multipurpose Room
Number of volunteers needed: 1-3.

Time Commitment: 20 minutes
What you’ll do: Accept payments from people attending the event. Return exact change for cash payments. Note, you will be given a brief training on using the payment system on the day of the event.
When / Where: Please arrive 15 minutes before the event to get an overview of the payment process. Come straight to the event location; no need to check in.
Number of volunteers needed: 0; position being filled by a PTA Board member.
How to express interest: N/A
If you are no longer able to volunteer due to illness or emergency, please email bracherpta@gmail.com as soon as you become aware you need to cancel.
Event FAQ

Please plan to arrive sometime between 5:50 and 6pm the day of the event. If you are running late then you WILL still be allowed to enter! Please just plan to come in quietly to keep the movie fun for all students.

Send payment along the flyer to school with your student for them to give to their teacher. The flyer will be sent home with your student 1-2 weeks before the event, as well as sent via ParentSquare message, and typically also posted to this web page.

Yes, please do not bring phones, tablets, or laptops.

It is strongly encouraged that you purchase your tickets in advance, as this allows us to plan for how much pizza, popcorn, and water to purchase, but if you are unable to purchase your tickets in advance then yes, you may purchase at the door!

Yes! Siblings age 4-18 can come with your Bracher student. Tickets for other siblings are $15 per child.
Please note that all students and visitors to Bracher are expected to adhere to the school code of conduct while on campus, even outside of school hours.

No, this is a kids-only drop-off event, but if you would like to volunteer at the event then please email bracherpta@gmail.com.

Absolutely. No questions asked. If circumstances have changed we understand. Please Let The office know or the PTA Team as soon as possible by emailing bracherpta@gmail.com. The PTA determines how much food/supplies are needed to purchase based on sign ups.
